GE IS220PPROH1A Servo Control Module
The IS220PPROH1A is a backup turbine protection (PPRO) I/O pack and associated terminal board that provide an independent backup overspeed protection system, as well as a backup check for generator synchronization to the common bus. They also act as an independent watchdog for the master control. Different configurations place three PPRO I/O packs directly on the TREA to form a single-board TMR protection system. For IONet communication with the control module, the PPRO includes Ethernet connectivity. Two Ethernet ports, a power supply, a local processor, and a data acquisition board are included in the I/O pack. The IS220PPROH1A is intended for aero-derivative turbine emergency trip applications and is used in conjunction with the TREAH terminal board.
